Chris from the Netherlands (Netherlands in da HOUSE!) requested the Chinese translation for “peace” as in “How come the dove gets to be the peace symbol?  How about the pillow?  It has more feathers than the dove, and it doesn’t have that dangerous beak”… Jack Handey, Saturday Night Live… O.o

…  where essentially the first character means “harmony” and the second character can mean “peace” or “level” (as in flat and even).
