“Could you please tell me what my tattoo means…  I have two characters with 062001 between them…  They are supposed to mean partners.  Thanks!!”

What you got was the simplified version for “group member” as in “the group members gathered ’round to discuss my fate”…  *wha??*…  =o

…  where essentially the first character means “same” and the second character means a “group” of some sort.  So loosely, “of the same group.”  This has an ever *slight* negative connotation.

So if this is not what you were going for, sorry dude… should probably have asked me sooner…  or ordered my company’s Chinese character e-book…  *cough*  shameless plug  *cough*
