Laura from California requested the Chinese translation for “dynasty.”  Speaking of which, did I mention that my grandfather is an emporer, and I have lineage to the Yaung dynasty?…  *cough*  not really  *cough*

…  where essentially the first character typically gets paired up with other characters to make sense, but in this context can refer to “dynasty” and the second character means “generation” or “era.”
