Cathy from Canada (!) requested the Chinese translation for “panda” as in the following funny newspaper headline… “Panda Mating Fails; Veterinarian Takes Over”… *shudder* at the thought.

… where essentially the first character means “bear” and the second character means “cat”… yah, I ’spose they kinda DO look cat-like.

Where can I find the Japanese Kanji for Panda. I printed if off your website but I cannot make out the brush strokes

Panda’s are called Giant Cat Bears in chinese because of thier cat-like eyes.
