Beauty
Michelle from the UK (again!) requested the Chinese translation for “beauty” as in “garden: a thing of beauty and a job forever.”
OMG, I can SO relate (sort of)… when I was a kid, it used to take me a 1/2 day to mow, landscape, and edgecut my parent’s frickin’ hilly lawn, using a MANUAL edgecutter and MANUAL mower (and NO, they wouldn’t get me the POWER versions… haha)… then I’d have to sleep the rest of the day because I had allergies (which I didn’t realize at the time… lol).
‘Tis probably the reason why I doubt I’ll ever live in a place that requires extensive yardwork (and why I luuuuv my condo).
