Aquarius

Jennifer from New York requested the Chinese translation for the horoscope “aquarius.”  Right on, here ya go.

…  where essentially the first character means “water,” the second character means “bottle,” and the third character is short for “constellation” (xing1 zuo4).

    That’s just how it’s translated. Just like translations from Spanish to English aren’t necessarily always the same word count, same goes for Chinese… it’s not always one-to-one… so there is not just one character for it in this case. Translations for each character are provided in the post above.

    Also, please note they are called characters, not symbols.
