Angel

Dave from the Netherlands (!) requested the Chinese translation for “angel” as in “better the devil you know than the angel you don’t”…  Hama Tuma, poet / writer…  huh, I’ve been using a variation of that saying for years now…  nice to finally know where it originated.

…  where essentially the first character means “the sky” or “the heavens” and the second character can mean “messenger.”  So loosely, a “messenger from the heavens.”
