Angel
Dave from the Netherlands (!) requested the Chinese translation for “angel” as in “better the devil you know than the angel you don’t”… Hama Tuma, poet / writer… huh, I’ve been using a variation of that saying for years now… nice to finally know where it originated.

… where essentially the first character means “the sky” or “the heavens” and the second character can mean “messenger.” So loosely, a “messenger from the heavens.”
