Anna from Illinois requested the Chinese translation for “profound” as in “dreams are often most profound when they seem the most crazy”…  Sigmund Freud, Austrian neurologist…  that Sigmund, always coming up with something er, profound.

…  where essentially the first character means “deep” and the second character is another one of those characters that oftentimes makes more sense when combined with other characters…  but individually, it can mean “to carve.”
