Intent

Linda from New York requested the Chinese translation for “intent” as in “a man who is intent on making the most of his opportunities is too busy to bother with luck.”…  quote by B.C. Forbes, Founder, Forbes Magazine…  tru dat, tru dat.

…  where essentially the first character can mean “meaning” as in “what’s the meaning of life?” (um, 42… haha) and the second character can mean “a direction” or “a course.”  The two characters together translate as “intentions” or “inclinations.”
