Imani from Canada (!) requested the Chinese characters for “Mulan” as in the Disney movie based on the Chinese legend / historical figure Hua Mulan.  Nice one (request that is).

…  where essentially the first character means “wood” and the second character means “orchid.”  The two characters together mean “magnolia.”
