Roz from California requested the Chinese translation for “tomato” because that’s her nickname…  (now I wanna hear the story behind THAT.  lol.)…  and yes, as in the food item…  tho I’m still not straight on whether it’s a fruit or a vegetable…  haha.  But as the saying goes, “if life deals you lemons, make lemonade;  if life deals you tomatoes, make Bloody Marys!”…  (hooah!)

…  where essentially the first character can mean “foreign” and the second character means “eggplant”…  which btw, as I understand it, is a cousin to the tomato.
