Rock ‘n Roll Music

Moriah from Oregon requested the Chinese characters for “rock ‘n roll music.”  Right on.

…  where essentially the first character means “to rock” or “to shake,” the second character means “to roll,” and the third character means “music.”

  1. Dorothy Hopper Says:

What would be the characters and pinyin for rock and roll musician?

  2. j.t. Says:

“Rock ‘n roll musician” would be as follows…

… where you would append one additional character to the end, which in this context, can translate as “specialist.” In this case, it would refer to “musician.”

For comprehensive information about these characters, including pinyin, you can order a comprehensive Chinese character e-book at my Building Characters store, for less than the meager cost of a lunch at TGI Friday’s or Applebee’s.
